If you've been following my blog, you've been noticing I've been sharing images of my Winter Wonderland Minis!  If you haven't been following, welcome!  And if you're interested in viewing more blog posts, scroll to the bottom to see more!

The last family I photographed on Sunday for my Winter Wonderland Minis are extra special to me! For those who don't know, I nanny part-time during the week for a little babe named Lila!  I started nannying for her when she was just 3 months old back, she'll be turning 1 on December 28th! My that went by fast!  Lila has an older sister, Noa, who attends preschool while I nanny Lila.  Over the past 8 months, I've gotten to know and love this family so much. So, it was extra special to have these them book me for a session.  Here are some of my favorites!

If you've missed it, all this week I've been sharing blog posts from my Winter Wonderland Minis!  I offered these new minis this year at my photography studio space in Fall River, MA.  Christmas photos are something everyone offers, but I wanted to also offer a mini session that wasn't geared towards Christmas, per say.  I have a few clients who don't celebrate Christmas and also I have some clients who do celebrate it but wanted family photos that they could display in their house for many months!  Whatever the reason may be, I was more than thrilled to offer a different type of Mini Session this year.  I had a wonderful turnout and it will be something I plan on offering again next year.

Today's family is a family of three!  Dad, Justin, and I have known each other for many years!  About 11 years ago we worked together at a local YMCA.  It was great seeing him again, and be able to meet his wife and daughter.  Here are some of my favorites from their session!

Yesterday, I posted about my Winter Wonderland Minis!  If you missed that first post, be sure to scroll to the bottom to see more blog posts!  This year, I offer both Christmas Tree Farm Minis as well as these Winter Wonderland Minis at my rented studio space.  These minis were some of my favorites.  I had so much fun creating a winter setup with beautiful snow themed props!

Today is my second family of the day for these minis, the R family!  I met this family over the summer.  They were guests at a wedding I photographed! I love how one wedding I can meet so many people, and many end up contacting me for photos of their own.  It's a wonderful feeling to connect with so many people!  This family was so wonderful, and their two adorable little girls were so much fun to photograph!  Here are some of my favorites from their session!

Every year I offer Christmas Tree Farm Mini sessions, and they are a huge success!  However, I have many clients who are Jewish or don't celebrate Christmas or prefer indoor photos this time of year, so I wanted to offer something for everyone.  So, I decided to offer a new kind of mini session this year: Winter Wonderland Mini Sessions! These sessions took place at the studio space I rent in Fall River, MA. The theme of these sessions is snow!  I found a great backdrop, and had a great timing purchasing props and setting up this display.  The setup came out better than I imagined and I'm just sorry I didn't have time to offer a second date for these!  I had many families come for this, and today I'm starting with the first family who booked.

The F Family consists of Jillian, Eric, and little Avery.  I first met this family when Jillian was pregnant with Avery. I took their maternity photos back in September of 2014.  Avery was born in November and I've photographed this family every year since!  Eric also came up with a great idea to capture this family each year.  Something unique and fun!  You'll see what I'm talking about!  Here are some of my favorites from this session!

R Family | Christmas Mini | Pine Crest Tree Farm | Westport, MA

A few weeks ago, I started off the Christmas photo season off!  Personally, I don't decorate or celebrate Christmas until after Thanksgiving, but photos I always start offering early!  Why?  For many reasons!  The weather gets colder and colder the closer we get to winter, and I want to be sure that my clients receive their photos in time to send off Christmas cards.  I've been sharing each and every family that booked with me for these tree farm photos, and this is the last family I'm sharing from this group!  Be sure to scroll down if you wish to see more!

Today's family is this little adorable family of three!  I first met this family last fall, when Lucas was just about 3 months old.  We did their family photos at an apple orchard! I was so happy to see them again this year.  Lucas was a little serious for most of his photos, but I did manage to capture a couple of smilies!  Here are some of my favorites from their session!

Harrison | Christmas Mini | Pine Crest Tree Farm | Westport, MA

Christmas Tree Farm photos are some of my favorite to photograph throughout the year!  They are always so much fun, and you never know how kids will do.  Some kids sit great, others just want to run around and have fun.  I mean, who could blame them?  There are lots of trees and grass just begging to be explored.  It's fun when the kids do explore, as I am able to capture some great candid moments and real smiles!

I've been photographing Harrison since he was a newborn!  His mom and I actually went to high school together, so it's been so nice seeing her become a mom.  Harry is a pretty cute kid, and was super fun to photograph!  Harry was one the kids who thoroughly enjoyed running through the trees and having fun.  I captured some great photos of him at the Pine Crest Tree Farm in Westport, MA for his holiday photos!

A Family | In-Home Lifestyle Session | Barnstable, MA

Lifestyle sessions are quickly becoming my new favorite type of session to capture.  What are lifestyle sessions?  These are sessions where I come into your home and capture everyday life, and moments as they happen.  I do take some "posed" photos, but mainly we just go with the flow and capture whatever happens!  I love these sessions because I'm able to create memories from real moments of laughter and fun with your children.  I feel these photos are more treasured as they showcase you and your family being themselves.

Taking these photos in your home also allows for a more relaxed environment.  Children tend to warm up quicker, and therefore I'm able to get some fun moments I might otherwise not have been able to if we were in a strange place.  This recent family session was so much fun!  They have three beautiful children, who were just full of energy and smiles.  I adore these photos, and I hope you will as well!

S Family | Christmas Mini | Pine Crest Tree Farm | Westport, MA

More Christmas Tree Farm photos are on the blog today!!  I had 5 wonderful families, and I'm going to try and share each family on the blog throughout the month.  I've already shared two others, so be sure to scroll to the bottom and click to view more if you're interested! I had lots of wonderful families book their annual family Christmas photos this year with me at Pine Crest Tree Farm in Westport, MA.  I truly love being a family photographer, and adore all of my repeat clients, and I loved seeing some new faces this year as well!

This next family are regular clients of mine, I usually see a few times a year.  This is their third session with me this year, and I always have some fun photographing them! Michael is 3 and full of loads of energy, so he always loves to run around!  Sometimes getting the perfect photo takes a lot of patience, especially with 3 year olds! When Michael first arrived for these photos, he did not want to sit, he just wanted to run through the trees, giggling away. I mean, what kid wouldn't?! Sometimes it's fun to let them run around for a bit. I capture some great candid shots of kids being kids, and some real, big smiles! Sometimes it might take almost the entire session before they sit. But, it's worth it. Most people only see the finished result of a photo, not the behind the scenes work from not only myself, but the parents as well. However, all that work really does pay off in the end. I mean how adorable are these photos?!

B Family | Christmas Minis | Pine Crest Tree Farm Westport, MA

It's the most wonderful time of the year!  Christmas time!  That means, lots of Christmas photos from me!  Every year, I offer family Christmas photos at a local Christmas Tree Farm.  I usually try and find a different one each year, to try and support as many local businesses as possible.  This year, I decided to book with Pine Crest Tree Farm in Westport, MA.  The owners were incredibly nice to let me use their farm, and the trees looked really great!  I will definitely be back to this tree farm again.

Today's family, is a mix of cousins and siblings!  I love when extended families book photos together.  A lot of times, cousins are as close as siblings, so it makes sense to combine the family photos.  Plus, it offer a lot more options for poses for photos and make great gifts for grandparents! This group of kids were super fun to photographed, and they all loved the camera!  It was a breeze photographing them, and I adore these photos!

Here are some of my favorite photos from this family Christmas Tree Farm photo session! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

And, every once in a while, clients have special reasons to want their photos done early.  Like this family!

I first met this family last year for their Christmas photos!  Mom, Lauren then referred her sister to me, who was married in September and yours truly photographed their big day!  I've gotten to know this family so I was excited to see them back again this year for another round of Christmas photos!  Well, when little Reese walked into the tree farm, she had a little sign and they announced they were expecting! Yay!! Now that this family has also announced this themselves on social media,  I'm excited to be able to share their photos here on my blog.

Without further ado, here are some of my favorites from this adorable photo session at the Pine Crest Tree Farm in Westport, MA!

M Family | Middleboro, MA

Today on the blog is the M Family!  These are brand new clients of mine, and I was stoked to meet them.  What a beautiful little family they are!  Mom chose a great location in Middleboro called Pratt Farm.  I lived in Middleboro for a short time, about 11 years ago, and even took one of my very first photo sessions at Pratt Farm!  I haven't taken any photos in the area in probably 5 years, so it was so nice to be back.  We lucked out with a great day, and the foliage was just beautiful!

At Pratt Farm, there are lots of great trails through the woods.  We just chose at random, and happened upon some beautiful areas.  I love photographing families in lanes littered with leaves, and framed by endless trees on either side. I think it's so beautiful!  We also came upon a small lake, so it was a nice surprise to have a little bit of a different backdrop for us.

This session was so much fun, and I captured some great photos of this family.  Here are my personal favorites from their session!

Dacey Family | Fall Foliage Mini Photo Session | West Bridgewater

Ah fall!  My favorite time of the year!  The weather cools off, and the leaves start to change.  It's just so beautiful driving around and seeing the colorful trees.  I love cooler weather.  I love wearing sweaters and drinking warm coffee and hot chocolate.  Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday actually!  I just love how it's about spending time with family, and lots of good food!

Every year I offer fall mini sessions during peak foliage.  The timing of the foliage can change year to year depending on the weather, but I've become adept and predicting when that will be.  One of my favorite places to photograph families in the fall is War Memorial Park in West Bridgewater, MA.  It's a pretty large park and not only does it offer a variety of beautiful spots for photos, but the foliage is usually pretty great!  It's become a popular spot for photos over the years, but I usually am good about choosing a little hidden spot that's perfect for my families.

This family is so much fun to photograph! I hope you enjoy their photos!!

B Family | Bristol, RI

Today on the blog is this large family session!  Vanessa is a long time friend of mine.  We went to middle school together and worked together during high school at the Gap at the Galleria in the Taunton Mall, and even took some college classes together.  I haven't seen her in many years, but we've managed to stay in contact on Facebook.  She married her high school sweetheart 4 years ago, and they just welcomed their first child, Halle, in May.

When Vanessa contacted me about a session, I was so excited!  She wanted a photo session not only with her husband and daughter, but her mom, her sister (with her boyfriend and two daughters) as well.  She wanted some nice family photos now that their family is growing even bigger! It's always fun to do large family photos, as most people stop taking professional photos with their parents when they become parents of their own.  I think these types of sessions are always so special and meaningful.

This session was fun, and a little tough getting 3 young kids to smile, haha, but we did it and I managed to capture some great photos!  Here are some of my favorites from this session!

A Family | Fall Foliage Mini Session | West Bridgewater, MA

More fall family photos!  Ah this foliage is just too pretty to not share!  This next family is pretty special.  I photographed mom and dad's engagement session and wedding back in May of 2014.  They've both kept in touch the past few years, and have always been great supporters of my work.  When Jen found out she was pregnant, she knew she wanted to book some family photos.  I was so excited to meet little Chace.  I can't wait to capture this family grow over the years to come! <3

Here are my personal favorites from their session!

Silvana | Yoga Session | Blitewold Mansion & Gardens | Bristol, RI

I love Yoga!  I've been practicing yoga on and off for about 5 years now.  I say on and off because I'll be honest; during the busy season, I really don't practice yoga much at all.  Which in all honestly is probably the time I should be practicing the most, as it's very beneficial to my body!  Anyways, I've come off track a little.  I love yoga.  And, I love taking photos of yogis!  I started taking photos of my instructor Ashley, and I've branched off into photographing other yogi's as well.

Silvana instructs yoga at The Heron Dance, Meditation and Yoga Studio in Fall River, MA.  She's also a school teacher.  She contacted me about taking her photos, and we discussed doing a mix of both yoga poses and headshots.  Silvana chose an amazing location: Blithewold Mansion and Gardens in Bristol, RI.  If you've never been, it's a gorgeous location filled with flowers and grennery!  This time of year there isn't a lot of flowers to see, but it was still beautiful, and offered a wonderful backdrop for photos.  I'll be offering photos here next year!

Here are some of my favorites from this session!

Leanna and Adriana's mom, Victoria, and I used to work together as preschool teachers years ago, before I started my photography business! Yes, I was a preschool teacher!  Vicki and I worked well together, and in fact, I still remember to this day when she came to me and told me she was pregnant with Adriana! It was exciting, and I can't believe how much both girls have grown up. They're beautiful little girls, and were so fun to photograph!

Here are my favorites from this adorable sister session!

R Family | Fall Foliage Mini Photo Session | West Bridgewater, MA

This next family for my fall foliage mini sessions were so adorable!  And, fun little note, this little girl is named Mallory!  It was my first time photographing someone with my namesake.  My name isn't super rare, but I really don't hear it too often, and it was fun to photograph her.  Although, it was a little funny saying my own name, haha!

If you missed the previous post, every year I offer fall foliage mini sessions during peak foliage season.

This year, I had 8 families sign up for these fall foliage sessions! It was a busy day, but it was so wonderful seeing all of these great families! I'm going to try and blog most of these families over the next couple of weeks.  Some of my families ask for their photos to remain private, and I completely respect their wishes.

First up is the L family!  Their adorable son, Oliver, is 7 months old and just the cutest little boy!  Wait until you see his little outfit.  Here are some of my favorites from this session. <3
