Spicer Family | Lifestyle Family Photographer | New Bedford, MA
As anyone who knows me, knows how much I love and enjoy my job photographing families. Over the years, I've grown to truly to un-posed/real photo sessions. Those moments where you don't realize the camera is on you, and I'm not telling you what to do. Those lifestyle moments where I capture life as it happens, you and your family interacting with each other normally. Those are moments you're going to want to remember 10, 20, 40, etc years from now. And those are the moments I love to capture the most.
Those sessions are known as lifestyle sessions. As of February 2017, I started offering these sessions, along with special packages catered to these types of sessions. With lifestyle sessions, I come to your home and photograph your family in a more fun and relaxed environment. While I will still capture some formal photos, I will also capture candid photos of your family being themselves. These sessions are meant to be fun and casual, and more often than not, I capture real genuine moments and smiles. They are great for families who are busy, and just want some everyday photos of you being you.
The Spicer family, who are on the blog today, are my most recent lifestyle family sessions! I first met Chad and Heidi back in the summer of 2014. I photographed their engagement session that fall, and they became lifelong clients! Since then, I've photographed their wedding, maternity, newborn, and multiple family sessions. I was thrilled with the opportunity to capture Chad and Heidi, with their son, Sawyer, in their home.
Sawyer is walking and just the cutest little 11 month boy! He was loving the camera so much, so I got so many great photos of him. Sawyer sure did steal the show, haha! I was able to get some wonderful smiles, beautiful moments between dad and Sawyer, mom and Sawyer, and of course, some as a family. I hope the Spicer family treasures these images for years and years to come!
Here are some of my personal favorites from their lifestyle family photo session!
