On November 6th, I hosted my annual Christmas Tree Farm Mini photo sessions! This is my fourth year in a row of offering them, and they seem to get more and more popular each year. I love how fun they are, and it's a perfect setting my Christmas photos! I always have so much fun creating my setup of props and decor. I try and do something a little different each year, so my regular clients can enjoy the photos for their Christmas cards!
This year, I had to find a new tree farm, due to unforeseen circumstances. I looked around and had called another local farm who refereed me to Pachet Brook Farm in Tiverton, Rhode Island. I'm so glad I went here! This farm is owned and farmed by the same family for over one hundred years!! How amazing is that?! Jean and her husband, whom I worked with, were wonderful and so sweet. We had a minor rain fall on us, and Jean went and brought my assistant and I some hot cocoa. Such genuine, nice people! And, their farm is beautiful! So many gorgeous trees! This may be the best looking tree farm I've come across. It's in a nice secluded area, that makes you feel like you're actually in the woods. Apparently, Pachet Brook Farm even offers weddings! I can imagine this would be a beautiful spot to get married. If you'd like more information about this farm, please visit their website HERE.
This year, I had five families sign up for my tree farm sessions! Three families were regulars, and two were brand new. I create mini session just for that reason. So not only can I see my regulars again, but it gives new clients a chance to check me and my work out. I think it's a great way to first meet me, and get to know my style. Overall, I think the day went beautifully. As I stated earlier, in the middle of the day, we had a minor rain fall on us. However, someone was looking out because the rain only fell when I had a break in between clients, so just myself and my assistant got rained on, haha! It was such a great success!
Here are a mix of my favorites from some of the families that booked their session with me!
