Aislinn contacted me on Facebook about photographing her High School Senior photos. We made plans to meet for coffee with her, her mom and dad. We met at the Coffee Exchange in Westport, such a cute place and great coffee!! From the instant I met them, I knew they were special people. Have you ever met someone and just knew they're meant to be in your life? That happened with this family. Aislinn is such a wonderful kid. She's kind-hearted, has a beautiful soul, and we have a lot in common, including our love for books. Aislinn's mom, Maura and I spoke for a bit. She told all about Aislinn, and it made me so thankful I'm photographing this wonderful person!
Upon hearing that Aislinn loved most as much (if not more) than me, I knew I had to bring along some special props! I love collecting vintage finds, but vintage books are my favorite! I brought a stack of them to Aislinn's session as a surprise. She was thrilled! And they worked perfectly for the photos.
Aislinn also mentioned she wanted a sort of boho type feel to the photos. They suggested this pretty flower field, and I also brought along a floral crown. (The crown was made by ones of my best friends for me!). The entire sessions just pulled together so nicely. The photos are some of my absolute favorites to this day!
Aislinn, you're a beautiful, wonderful girl! I wish you nothing but amazingness for your future!
Here are some of my favorites!
